House Wash

We had the outside of our house and the driveway cleaned.  Who knew the driveway was so dirty???? It now blinds us when we go outside.

Jaspa hid under the couch until they were finished. Scare-dy-cat!

new furniture = chaos

We bought some new bedroom furniture from a new shop on its opening day, which was an expreience in itself.  We practically had to grab a staff member and hold on to them in order to actually get any service. They had what we wanted though, so we made a purchase.

It was all delivered at the end of the week......

in lots of boxes!

 I then had to try and put the bed together. With no instructions

It ended up looking like a bed, with no pieces left over. So thats good enough for me!

one slight issue - our room is too small, so only 1 bedside table actually fits beside the bed.

New Gardens

We finally managed to make our back/side garden look presentable.  We have put down weed matting and cypress mulch all the way along - we think it looks a million times better than it used to!

We also re-mulched and weed-matted the front gardens

Newly renovated front garden bed

We ripped all the plants out of our front garden bed, put down weed matting, cut holes in it for the plants to go, popped in some plants and covered with some mulch. Much tidier! And still living almost a month later!

the TV is freed from its box!!!

The tv cabinet arrived Friday afternoon, so we were finally able to remove the tv from its box and set it up!



Jaspa was a little impatient...



Friday night we all sat on the couch and enjoyed the new tv.....

isn't it lovely??? (its not blurry like that :-) )

On Saturday, we were able to move all the furniture around (the old massive tv corner unit is now in my room). Its like a new house! So much roomier!!!

And our new dvd shelf is just perfect!!! (although scarily, it is quite full already...)
